Caroline Green

Biography

Caroline is an Early Career Research Fellow (Human Rights and AI) at the Institute for Ethics in AI located within the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Oxford.

Her background is in human rights law, gerontology and social care. Caroline's research at the Institute for Ethics in AI focuses on the intersections between AI, human rights and the quality of life of older people. She leads a project developing an AI-powered solution to support the skillset of family carers, thereby also investigating the human rights ramification of AI-powered technology to care for older people. Caroline also works more generally on questions around AI and human rights. Furthermore, Caroline has a strong interest in academic entrepreneurship and inclusive, user-centred design of innovations.

Caroline holds a PhD in Gerontology from King's College London, from which she graduated in 2020.
