Associate Professor, Nuffield Department of Medicine
Teresa Lambe is a Principal Investigator based at the Jenner Institute in the Nuffield Department of Medicine. Her area of expertise is vaccine development and immune profiling.
Teresa is an experienced immunologist who develops vaccines against emerging and outbreak pathogens. She is experienced at progressing preclinical concepts all the way through to clinical assessment. Her team is working on delineating the immune response against a number of emerging or outbreak pathogens (including Ebolavirus, CCHF and coronaviruses) and using this information to aid in vaccine development against these pathogens.
Teresa and her team started developing a vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 in early 2020, and they are now working closely with other groups, including the Oxford Vaccine Group, to deliver the ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 clinical vaccine programme.
