Collections Teaching and Research Centre

The Collections Teaching and Research Centre (CTRC) is a brand new facility (currently under development) located in the two basement levels of Reuben College. It is the first time ever that the University of Oxford has been able to create a centrally located, high quality storage space to house collections not on public display from all four University of Oxford Museums: the Ashmolean Museum, the History of Science Museum, the Museum of Natural History, and the Pitt Rivers Museum.

The location of the CTRC in the lower levels of Reuben College brings exciting potential for students and researchers to access the specialist expertise of curators and conservators, and opens new opportunities for curriculum enhancements, resources for student research projects, and developing practical skills that will help students both in their studies and in their future careers.
